My name is Ryan Derwin Gamboa. I was born and raised in Red Bluff, California. I'm a Communications and Media Technologies major at the Academy of Art University. Moving away from my small cow town for the big city was a major step in my life but it was the best decision I could have ever made. I am grateful for the knowledge I have gained from the amazing instructors at this institution.
My dream is to be a public address announcer for a major sports team. After taking COM 200 and 210 I realized my passion for storytelling and being on camera. I am now an aspiring journalist that wants to spread the news in a positive truthful light. As artists, we can move others by our work and touch them in a way others can not. My goal is to have an impact on the world through the way I tell a story.
