Alice Michell was born and raised in Saint Paul, Minnesota. She now resides in downtown San Francisco, California. She received her BFA in Fashion Design while playing NCAA II soccer at Academy of Art University. Fashion design and soccer have cultivated the two sides to her personality that are integral to her art; her creative / technical side, and her competitiveness. Alice’s aesthetic as a fashion designer lays within her process. She uses CLO3D as a creative tool that allows her to relate unlimited graphic placements, color-ways, and engineered print layouts at zero cost. By using her skills in pattern making with the technical tools and functions in CLO3D she is bringing female form to the forefront while simultaneously promoting a low cost, sustainable future in fashion.
