Lace is widly used from 16th to 18th centry Europe. Laced decoration is heavy and uncomfortable, but symbolized wealth and social status of the rich and nobilities. The shape of the lace reminds me of a single cell organism - slime mold. On the contrary, slime mold don’t have brain or nervous system, but it can use vibration to solve lots of problems. Simple and pure are human’s first nature. As we grown, sometimes we will lost in the decorations that we added to obey the rule of this world. Open the layer of complex, the “slime mold” is still inside somewhere waiting for us.

Ever since I can remember, my grandma always sitting there, reading Buddhist scripture with smokes of sandalwood incense burning. She said that Zen is about philosophy and truth of life. “KOF(The King of Fighters)” is a series of fighting game by SNK that first released in 1994. The childhood memories of 90’s kid. Shiranui Mai is one of the most presented charactor. As a Japanese charactor, fan and red kimino is her famous known for. By collecting old clothes from thrift store and reconstructions, new meaning are added to these abandoned garments and accessories. Repurpose garments definitely is a brand new sight of sustainable fashion.

Plastic has only been mass-produced since the 1940s, but it’s having a devastating impact on sea turtles. “52% of the world’s turtles have eaten plastic waste, because floating plastic bag can look like jellyfish, algae, or other species that make up sea turtles’ diets.” All sea turtle species are at risk from plastic. However, abandoned fishing nets can easily kill them through drowning or preventing individuals from escaping or hunting.
