I am Haiping Pu. I was born in Lu Zhou, a small city in southwest of China. I got my bachelor's degree in Industry Design from Shang Hai Institute of Visual Art and am now studying Fine Art Sculpture at Academy of Art University for my master's degree.

My works are about fantastical creatures. They originate from a Chinese mythical book called Shan Hai Jing. In it, there are many creatures from myths and legends with interesting background stories. I chose two pernicious creatures from the Shan Hai Jing to inspire my latest sculptural projects.
