Kaitlyn Johnson
Kaitlyn Johnson is a 3D character animator graduating with an M.F.A. from the Academy of Art University. Born and raised in the Bay Area, Kaitlyn briefly left for Tufts University in Boston, where she received a B.A. in Anthropology and Community Health. While there, Kaitlyn became the first photographer to be featured in Tufts’ student-run magazine The Observer, where she served as a contributing artist and provided graphic illustrations for its news stories. A lifelong lover of all thing's animation, she moved back to San Francisco after graduating to pursue her artistic dreams. Kaitlyn has a particular interest in realistic character and creature animation. She loves to work in collaborative and inclusive environments and has a knack for identifying clear and constructive ways to build on her work. When she’s not animating, Kaitlyn can be found playing guitar, cooking, and spending time with friends in the nearest park.
